On May 17th, as part of the International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia, and Biphobia (IDAHOBIT), an important presentation of a study on the status of men who have sex with men (MSM) and transgender people took place in Estonia. This event marked a significant step towards raising awareness about the issues faced by these communities.
The study revealed numerous serious problems, including high levels of discrimination, stigmatization, and insufficient medical and psychological support. The presentation featured not only statistical data but also personal stories from participants, which helped to provide a deeper understanding of the context and the real situation. Participants expressed hope that the study’s results would serve as a foundation for further actions.
